Lori

Originally  from Boston, Lori worked for three AD 100 Top firms in NYC before venturing out on her own in 2006. She favors a soft spoken form of luxury with a mix of both remarkable and workable pieces; preferring this approach over spaces with  unnecessary flourishes that can tax the eye. She credits her former employers with directing her stylistically. Notably Mac II’s Mica Ertegun, a renowned Interior designer and Former boss of 4 years, with influencing her the most.

Lori began her career in NYC and worked with the Rockwell Group, a famous commercial design firm. Later venturing into the residential field, as a Project Manager at Mac II, Lori gained a classic, but clean approach to decorating rooms. Immediately following this experience she worked with Thomas Jayne for 3 years as a Senior Project Manager. In contrast, here she adopted a more colorful, traditional and decidedly American approach to decorating rooms with character and a touch of whimsy.

Over the years Lori has orchestrated projects in the Hamptons, Maine, Palm Beach and Mexico as well as city residences. LGI provides clients with a clean aesthetic; interpreting the classics in a modern way. Living spaces are rich, but not overworked. This is accomplished by using the finest materials, engaging top quality workrooms/artisans for custom pieces and finishes. Employing her extensive knowledge of the market, Lori is able to offer clients well vetted options while staying true to the goal of functionality.

She attended the New York School of Interior Design and earned a B.S. in Business Management from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA.
